AIP Direct Debit Payment FAQ

Electronic payment option feature allowing you to have your quarterly and annual premiums paid by a recurring electronic debit from your bank account.

AFSPA’s direct debit program offers the option to have your quarterly and annual premiums
paid by a recurring electronic debit from your bank account.

Due to security and concerns for protecting your privacy, ALL Direct Debit enrollments/changes will be handled through the AFSPA Member Portal. Once you have logged into your account select, “Direct Debit Enrollment and Changes” to the right of the screen for the plan you wish to enroll for automatic deductions.

Yes, please select the plans you wish to enroll for automatic deductions at the time of
enrollment.

Due to security and concerns for protecting your privacy, ALL Direct Debit
enrollments/changes will be handled through the AFSPA Member Portal. Once your direct debit
enrollment is submitted, the following will occur:

  • Two e-mails will be generated:
    • An e-mail containing a secure PDF of your signed enrollment for your records.
    • An acceptance e-mail from the AFSPA Accounting Team to notify you that your
      Direct Debit has been processed and accepted.
  • You will be notified by e-mail when the first debit has occurred from your bank
    account, and a reminder notification will be sent for every auto deduction.
  • All changes made online to your Direct Debit will be confirmed via e-mail.
You can change bank information or cancel your plan easily and quickly by logging into the AFSPA Member Portal. Select tab for “Direct Debit Enrollment and Changes”.
  • You can use the EDIT button to change bank account information.
  • To cancel direct debit automation, select the red Discontinue Direct Debit box or, you may securely email a request to cancel by selecting the tab for Direct Debit Inquiries.

  • Direct Debit enrollment authorizes AFSPA to collect your quarterly and annual premiums through an electronic ACH transaction directly from a designated bank account on a recurring basis.
  • Credit/Debit payments allow you to make one-time premium payments online using a credit or debit card.
