Collection of Information

We collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) which is data that is unique to an individual, such as a name, postal address, telephone number, and email and Non-PII which is data that does not identify an individual personally, but can provide us with usage data such as web browser information, server log files, cookie technology, pixel tags or beacons, and other technologies. We acquire your PII and non PII when you voluntarily register, create a member profile with us, or request products, services, or information from us. We do not track our members on the internet for purposes of profiling.

We may disclose your PII to governmental agencies if required by law, pursuant to a subpoena, regulatory oversight, or other legal process.  In all cases we will require the recipient to protect the PII and use it only for the purposes provided.

Email and AFSPA Member Portal

Your email, like most, is non encrypted and may be accessed and viewed by other Internet users, without your knowledge and permission while being transmitted to us. For that reason, to protect your privacy, please do not use email to communicate information to us that you consider confidential.

To protect our members’ privacy and PII, use the AFSPA Member Portal. In addition, AFSPA provides a secure (encrypted) form on our website for members who wish to communicate with AFSPA via a secure method. Using the secure forms protects your PII. Both the AFSPA Member Portal and the secure forms utilize the highest commercial encryption technology currently available with encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) data lines.

We may disclose your PII to governmental agencies if required by law, pursuant to a subpoena, regulatory oversight, or other legal process.  In all cases we will require the recipient to protect the PII and use it only for the purposes provided.
