FSBP Introduces New Lifestyle and Condition Coaching Program in 2022

The Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP) introduced a new Lifestyle and Condition Coaching (LCC) program available to FSBP members at no extra cost, effective January 1, 2022.

FSBP members who were working with a health coach from our former health coaching program through TrestleTree, will be contacted by an LCC program coach to be welcomed into the new program. “We want to make the move to the new LCC program as easy as possible for our members to continue helping them meet their health needs,” Kyle Longton COO AFSPA said.

This new and enhanced LCC program can help members eat better, become more active, manage medical conditions and take charge of their health.  In fact, it offers tips and advice on more than 40 topics including:

  • Exercise and activity
  • Coronary artery disease
  • General health education
  • Heart failure
  • Sleep
  • Asthma
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Work-Life balance
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Stress management
  • Osteoporosis
  • Weight management
  • Chronic hepatitis
  • Tobacco cessation
  • Migraines
  • Diabetes
  • Osteoarthritis
  • High blood pressure
  • Peptic ulcer disease
  • High cholesterol
  • Colitis/Chron’s
  • Back and neck pain
  • Cancer

The LCC program also offers different health coaching styles: one-on-one telephone coaching, live group webinars and self-directed digital coaching.  Members can choose the style that works best for their needs.
