After months of hard work, we finally pressed the ‘refresh’ button and revamped our website with an entirely new look and feel. The main goal of redesigning the website is to deliver both our existing and potential members a better, cleaner, and faster user experience – making it easy for them to find exactly what they’re looking for.
Why Change?
It has been over five years since our last redesign and since then, a lot has changed on the web with the evolution of web functionalities, responsiveness, and tools to offer a better user experience. It was always our intention to redesign our website to better cater to the needs of our members. We revamped our website because we wanted to:

Make it easier to find the information you are looking for
With careful planning, we tried to make the website more modern, dynamic, and straightforward. Below are some highlights from the new website design.
Improved Menu
Since the menu is the most used tool to navigate any website, we made our menu more comprehensive to make it easier to get the information you need. With our new menu, you can quickly access all the member portals (AFSPA Member Portal, Aetna’s Secure Member Website, and Express Scripts Online) much faster with fewer clicks. Our new menu allows you to peek at our most recent blog posts, see our upcoming events, and more.

Improved and Simplified Navigation
On our homepage, we added a new way to navigate our site for new/existing members and potential members who are interested in what we have to offer. With this new navigation option, we’re hoping this will make it easier to get to the information you need with fewer clicks and scrolling.

Social Media
Our redesigned site contains integrated social media buttons for Blog, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ to foster improved communication with members and the community. We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, articles, blogs, organizational announcements in the ‘Stay Connected’ section of our menu.
