The Open Season results are in, and we are happy to announce that AFSPA has experienced significant growth. Over 2,900 new enrollees have joined the Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP), and there have been increases in enrollment in many of our Ancillary Insurance Programs.
CAHPS® Member Satisfaction Survey
The Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP) works with a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) certified vendor to administer a Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) survey, an annual survey which is used for rating a patient’s health care experiences when navigating the healthcare system.

As we step into a new year, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the new members who have chosen to enroll in the Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP), or any of our Ancillary Insurance Programs (AIP). Our FSBP plan offers a wide range of benefits, including medical and prescription drugs, ensuring coverage wherever you are. Our AIP programs provide additional coverage options, such as dental, life, disability, travel insurance, and more.

FSBP Expands Care at NTT Medical Center Tokyo
The Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP) announces that the direct billing arrangement with our partner, NTT Medical Center Tokyo in Japan, has been expanded to include routine physical exam/screening.
New ID Cards Issued to Active Members of Foreign Service Benefit Plan in Select States
We have recently issued new ID cards to active members of the Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP) who live in certain states. The purpose of this measure is to help us obtain deeper discounts with specific hospitals and providers.
