BACKGROUND: The American Foreign Service Protective Association has been providing insurance and holistic wellness services to Federal Foreign Service and Executive Branch personnel for over 90 years.
AFSPA is pleased to announce that Critical Illness Insurance will be added to its insurance programs portfolio on July 1, 2021.
This new insurance option will offer AFSPA members, under age 65, and their families financial protection as they deal with serious illnesses such as major organ failure and/or transplant, stroke, invasive or non-invasive cancer and coronary artery disease.*
Critical Illness Insurance will assist with costs associated with transportation to and from a medical treatment facility, lodging, mortgage or rent payments, child-care costs – including college tuition – or other medical and non-medical expenses.
Coverage will be available both overseas and in the United States.**
