Brightline: New Behavioral Health Support for Kids

We are in the middle of an urgent pediatric behavioral health crisis — in fact, 1 in 5 children has a diagnosed behavioral health need and 80% are not getting the care they need. And that was before the pandemic resulted in social distancing and isolation, remote learning, and the rapid blurring of our work and home lives.

We are excited to introduce Brightline, a new behavioral health benefit for members enrolled in the Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP). Brightline brings extraordinary behavioral health care for kids and teens, and support for parents and caregivers in the form of psychologists, psychiatrists, speech therapists and more. Even better? It’s all delivered virtually by in network providers, so you can access it when and where you need it. Brightline offers dedicated one-on-one coaching for pressures such as stress, anxious thoughts, navigating friendships, social media or cyberbullying, self- esteem issues, sleep problems — whatever you have going on, Brightline can provide the help.

FSBP stateside members can enroll at hellobrightline.com/FSBP or call the Brightline team at 888-224-7332 for any questions.
